JDownloader is an open-source and independent download manager that is written in Java. So it might get slower than the others mentioned here. However, that doesn’t set JDownloader back because it is free and optimized for those that use hosting and file-sharing sites such as Rapidshare and Megaupload. It’s ideal for anyone who wants to paste encrypted links from third-party sites, even if they are not subscribers.
